Mary Kay is an adjunct faculty member and senior admissions officer who draws on her experience at SIT - where she earned her master's degree in intercultural service, leadership, and management - to help students determine their goals and align them with their best experience options at SIT.

She brings over 30 years of teaching and administration experience in Mexico, Kenya, Niger, France, UK, and Poland. She graduated from Dickinson College with a bachelor's in English literature and completed three Cambridge TESOL courses including the CELTA, DELTA, and Young Learner's Certificate. She has taught courses in intercultural communication, training, and organizational behavior and leadership.

Her academic areas of interest include communication across social class, the process of giving and receiving feedback, and learning theories. She enjoys chatting and "geeking out" with prospective students about theories of learning, including how SIT's experiential and adult learning theories transform their master's degree experience.
